After a good night’s sleep, start your day with an energy boost. In our breakfast room with adjoining terrace, we offer an extensive buffet with local cheese and meat specialities, local backed goods, fresh fruit and vegetables, yoghurt as well as eggs from free-range farming. During the week, you can enjoy your breakfast from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM and on the weekends and public holidays from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
Our lounge area on the ground floor invites you to finish off your day in a cosy atmosphere. The integrated kitchenette equipped with a fridge and a microwave are the ideal setting for socialising or watching TV with others while enjoying cold beverages and snacks.
You would like to know where the food we serve comes from? We obtain a major part of it – including sausages, meats, eggs and vegetables – from the butcher, market garden and the socially-focused agribusiness „Johannes Hof“ run by the Sankt Johannes foundation in Marxheim-Schweinspoint.
If you are interested in visiting the farm, we will be pleased to prepare a personalised offer for you in cooperation with the team of the Johannes Hof. Sneak a peek behind the scenes of the market garden and admire the species-appropriate stables of the farm. In a guided tour, you will learn more about the origin of the food we serve at the engelkeller and experience at first-hand how much passion stands behind good quality.
